Couple: M and B | Location: RMNP ceremony and Backyard Reception
I could go on and on about how much I LOVE intimate weddings.
This summer I had the pleasure of being a part of one of my favorites to date.
This Rocky Mountain Ceremony was centered around beating all the odds and cherishing the ties made with family and friends. There were few times where family wasn't tantamount to the day's events. During the beautiful ceremony life stories were shared within the couple's very personal vows. Every person in attendance nodded and murmured in agreement to how much this couple deserve the lifetime of happiness and love ahead of them. I was hard-pressed to find a dry eye in the amphitheater.
Once we arrived at the backyard reception, the ambiance was more a kin to the most jubilant of family reunion rather than a wedding reception. The menu was centered around the couple's favorite "dinner time" treats. Instead of a wedding cake, the couple opted to serve homemade pumpkin whoopee pies. Colorado micro-brews were passed around freely while the grill perfected salmon for the lengthy summer barbecue buffet. Entertainment for the reception consisted of fun games like "Can Jam", "Yard Bowling", and "Corn Hole." I can't tell you just how amazing it was to see an entire family come together, regardless of age or distance and truly enjoy themselves.
Here's to my more wedding like this in my future.
Without further adieu, I present to you a look into M and B's magical day...
